ABOUT MISTI
Author and trainer, Misti Barnes. is an Associate Trichologist, certified Collagen Restoration Therapist, Medical Micropigmentation Artist, and licensed Esthetician. She is a graduate of Pepperdine University.
Misti began her aesthetics career by providing treatments to restore skin, post-surgical scars and acne scarring. Barnes was trained by Susan Church, one of the first to use microneedling, while working with burn survivors, in concert with Dr. Richard Grossman, of the Grossman Burn Center.
Along with a leading Biochemist with a background in hair science, Misti developed the patent-pending Cellustrious® Hair Follicle Rejuvenation ™ training protocol and product line. She was a featured speaker at the 2018 and 2019 Boston Biolife Regenerative Medicine Conference, has appeared on FOX Health News, and is a speaker at professional health gatherings. She’s published two books, (Hazelden Publishing), has been published in Plastic Surgery Practice Magazine, and has served as a contributing editor to THE Aesthetic Guide, published by Medical Insight.
